Purpose

Automated reading of barcodes of tubes is often reqires for application on liquid handling robots. Sample transfers from tubes to microtiter plates can be tracked.

Process

The tubes in racks for different tube diameters are aligned to one side. The rack is manually or automatically (using pipetting tool) pushed onto the deck of Biomek 3000/4000. The barcode is read during the movement. The read / unread barcodes are displayed and not readed barcodes can be corrected.
