Description
Purpose
Applications often require a larger number of labware on liquid handling robots. The labware stacking ALP hold stacked labware in a temperated enviroment.
Features
It consist of 3 parts: two chilled stacks to stack and store microtiterplates at a moderate temperature, one stack at room temperature to stack microtiter plates and tip boxes and a mounting option for a Fly-By Barcode Reader (FBBCR). The Labware Stacking ALP is positioned off the left side of the Biomek®. The gripper can grasp and move tip boxes and microtiterplates to and from the stacks.

The custom device was developed to allow handling on Biomek series with Span-8 and Gripper.
